Message from the CEO

Thank you very much for visiting our website.

In 2024, the Noto Peninsula earthquake occurred on New Year’s Day, and then in September the same area suffered flood damage due to heavy rain. I am heartbroken at the hardships that have been suffered by those in the affected areas, who can still not say they have recovered.

This year, our company was also troubled by rising expenses, especially the shortage of logistics vehicles caused by the labor shortage, and the rise in labor costs. We managed to overcome these difficulties and make it through the year and welcome the new year safely thanks to our many customers who have supported us for many years, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to them.

I’m sure we’re not the only ones who think that something better will happen this year than last, but it makes me feel uneasy when I think that it’s just a continuation of last year.

With a declining population, an aging consumer base, a trend away from alcohol that has become evident due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a tendency to avoid congregating, all of these factors suggest that the era where consumers are happy with any beverage store has come to end.

I can’t help but think that “a store chosen by customers” will be a key phrase from now on. I believe we are returning from an era in which customers were satisfied if drinks were sold cheaply, to an era in which food and beverage are integrated and professional restaurant management understands what customers want. Naturally, we liquor retailers must also be chosen by the discerning eye of professional restaurant managers.

It is inevitable that we will be held to higher standards of quality than ever before, and to do this, we must come together as a company, tensely ask ourselves what customer satisfaction means, and act accordingly.

In a sense, we may be entering an era of a brighter future. We intend to work hard together with our customers to survive. We would like to ask for your continued patronage and guidance.
